What do we do? Simply put, we make your computer systems work for you. All too often, small businesses end up spending far more time fighting a computer than the time the computer saves. You buy an accounting system, but find it can't talk to your sales management system, or your email program. You buy a server, and then learn it's been infected by a virus and is disseminating spam. You dread opening your email because of all the spam filling your inbox. We can help with: A typical problem How many places do you have your customer contact information? In our discussions with our clients, most businesses have contact details in far too many places:
It's all the same data, but repeated in many places. That makes for a maintenance nightmare. So why not just go buy a contact management system? You could, but it won't integrate with your invoicing system. Or if it does, it won't integrate with your project management system. Or your email. The problem with buying a proprietary program is that you're limited to the features and integration abilities provided by the vendor. Our approach? Build an open source module that uses completely open standards to provide contact information to any application that requests it. All your contact information will end up in one system, where it can be easily maintained and accessed by everything. Okay. Not everything. Only by other applications that also use open standards. We're building a virtual office building, and we're doing it by cooperating with other small IT companies scattered around the world, whose customers have the same needs. And we're doing it one feature at a time, paid for by companies who most need it. We're currently looking for a growing company who needs a good solu tion for managing customers, willing to sponsor the development of a superior customer relationship management tool.
What can we do for you now? So the customer management part isn't quite ready yet. We can still help your business in many ways. Here are some services we provide, installed on your computers or hosted on ours:
We're available to help you solve your small business computing problems. If you have a project you'd like to discuss, contact us!
