What makes us different

Want to do it yourself? We can recommend a few other web hosts. Want somebody to handle everything for you, while making it possible for you to access content? That's what we're here for.

We don't provide FTP access. We don't provide shell or SSH logins. We don't support FrontPage. But we do provide systems that allow you to easily add content using any web browser. And we can set up private shared directories using WebDAV so you can share files with your team, even if they work somewhere else.

You focus on your business. We'll handle the technical details for you. And if you need help making decisions involving technology, or need a good writer to make your message clear, we're happy to help. Contact us to get started!

Other types of services we're working on

At Freelock, LLC, we wrote the book about small business computing. We are actively exploring and finding the best solutions for:

  • Email. Email requires constant attention to stay abreast of the latest developments in blocking spam and viruses.
  • Contact management. Keep that database of key customers, vendors, and partners current and easy to manage, and integrate it with all of your other systems.
  • Document Management. Where is the latest version of that contract? Uh, oh! That section we deleted last week would be great--how can I get that back?
  • Remote Access (VPNs, SSH). How do I get to that important file on my office network, while I'm at a conference around the world, without risking it falling into the wrong hands?
  • Project Management.
  • Accounting.
  • Security and Data Integrity.
  • Supply Chain Management.

We generally recommend our subscription services, because by hosting the same systems for multiple companies, we can greatly reduce our overhead and offer you the best possible price. If you have especially sensitive information, however, we are happy to set you up with equivalent systems at your site and maintain them on a service contract.
